My name is Angel. I'm from the US, on the East Coast. I am 16 y/o and my birthday is late July. I am also Hispanic, my parents are from Mexico. I adore learning languages and am currently learning; Arabic, Korean, and French. I speak English (ofc) and Spanish natively. At some point I was learning American Sign Language and Latin, but I haven't had time to keep that up. I plan to one day study Political Science with a minor in either French or Arabic Language Studies. My dream is to leave the America's and go to Morocco or the EU to become a professor in either Political Science or French/Arabic. I enjoy learning about anything; from language, to philosophy, to Calculus. I hope to be able to practice teaching and speaking about topics which I'm interested in through this little passion project. Maybe in the future, after I make a couple of translating videos, I'll start posting more blog-ish things. Idk yet.

I'm currently using a number of websites and an app to find penpals, I'll link mine below and maybe some pictures of letters.
This little section is pretty relevant to the Starlang and might turn into it's own page one day. But right now this will just be a little place to put my resources. I'm hoping to learn Arabic extensively by next semester, and maybe Korean as well! Below will be links to works in those target languages.
This is another website I've made that is largely not used anymore, I just couldn't find an actual community :/ Perhaps I'll just use it to display my own writings one day, if I write anything anytime soon.
I've been recently working on transcribing some old Spanish documents with the Library of Congress. Rather exciting project and my little mini document which I've been working on solely is almost finished! Just gotta review a ton of pages to make sure no one made any mistakes.
As you can see from above I can crochet a bit, I've been doing it for a couple of years now. Right now I'm planning on maybe finishing a tapestry and starting a lily project. I adore lilies so much! I'll share those below if I finish.
I am decent at a couple of subjects, namely Maths and French. I hope to be able to tutor those subjects both at my local community college and perhaps online through schoolhouse.world, I'll see what happens tho, I'll always be wiling to tutor or help anyone so lmk if that interests anyone!
Mais that's about it for the projects I'm involved in, I'm always looking to join other organizations that are interesting enough. Whether in the humanities or STEM, although I prefer the humanities. Looking forward to maybe connect to someone else who shares these hobbies :p
